Teachers left in the dark about school reforms

As politicians argue about the implementation of the federal Gonski school reforms and the Queensland Government pushes the new Great Teachers Equals Great Results policy, it seems as if the people who will be affected most by these changes are being left out of the debate.

I spoke to education experts and teachers to see how this debate is being addressed outside the bureaucracy. This podcast features Professor Robert Lingard from the University of Queensland’s School of Education, teacher at Clairvaux MacKillip High School Helen O’Rouke and Vice President of the Queensland Teacher’s Union Julie Brown.
